mwewKholm o mwfaKhulm (in mwfqpashtu: خلم), precedentemente nota come mwfgTashqurghan (in mwfwdari e in mwgauzbeko: تاشقرغان), è un insediamento situato nella provincia di mwgqSamangan, nell'mwggAfghanistan settentrionale, 60 km a est di mwgwMazar-i Sharif, a un terzo della strada per mwhaKunduz. Kholm è un'antica cittadina situata sul fertile e interno delta del fiume Khulm (Darya-i-Tashqurghan). In quanto tale, è una località ricca di risorse agricole e densamente popolata. È famosa per il suo mercato coperto e costituisce un centro importante per il commercio di ovini e del legname.

Etimologia
Il nome originale della località, Tashqurghan (latinizzato anche in mwhwTashkorghan), corrisponde al termine mwiauzbeko "mausoleo in pietra" o "mwiqkurgan". Il nome dell'insediamento fu convertito in Kholm (in alternativa mwigKhulm) durante il programma di mwiwpashtunizzazione dell'Afghanistan settentrionale voluto dal Ministero dell'Interno guidato dal mwjavisir Mohammad Gul Khan.
